Yuri Shibuya has traveled the world and reported on varying scenes from Jamaica’s Reggae culture to New York City Skate culture. Currently, she has shifted her lens to more natural settings. Her new book entitled ‘CAMP 4. YOSEMITE’ depicts the climbers who congregate to one of the the world’s premier climbing spots. The beautiful black & white photos capture the climbers preparing for their daily rock climbing journey’s as well as chilling out at their campsites. And in the air in all the photographs is the timeless passion and pioneering spirit of Camp 4’s early founders.
