When you look at the big rocks while staying in Yosemite for a long time and wonder which line to climb. Or when you are in the middle of a climb. For a moment, there is a “rock” that catches your eye and stays in your mind. Since she cannot take her camera with her when she is concentrating on climbing, she goes back to that “rock” to photograph it and clicks the shutter. It is impossible to put into words why she is attracted to it. So she takes a picture of it, and then she goes back to the memory of it and meets it again. All of the photographs were taken in Yosemite, but the surface texture of the rocks is different between the Valley and High Country, even though they are the same granite. The monochrome tones that accentuate the texture make it difficult to determine the size of the rock. However, somewhere in the vastness of Yosemite, there is definitely a rock just like the one in the photo.
